Our History
JIP, originally known as PT Jakarta Communications, was founded in Jakarta on October 2, 2006, as a sub-holding in the infrastructure sector of the BUMD holding company, PT Jakarta Propertindo Perseroda. This sub-holding encompasses the development, telecommunications services, and trade in telecommunications transmission equipment sectors.
The formation of PT Jakarta Infrastruktur Propertindo was initiated by the Letter of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province Number 1762/-071.24 dated August 8, 2006, which outlined the establishment of a telecommunications business entity.
The company has received support from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to build Integrated Utility Network Facilities (SJUT) in the DKI Jakarta area. In addition to its operations in the ICT and Advertising sectors, the company is currently expanding its business in the Data Center sector.
